Web Design Software for Beginners

The problem with web design software for beginners is having too many to choose from. If you’re a beginning website designer you will be bombarded with software packages that offer that easiest way to build a website.

They all have something offer so how do you choose the right one for you? If you’re not in a massive rush to build a website, stop and think of the best route to take. Turn off all of the web noise and look for practical solutions.

If you’re a beginner and you really want to learn how to build websites from scratch, Learn HTML coding. The best way to learn software is to take things one set at a time.

I once had a professor who had the best technique for teaching web design software for beginners. He would teach you how each tool in a software program worked and give an assignment using the tool. When we finished that class, we all knew what the crop tool is used for in Photo Shop or the “marching ants” tool.

there is no set way to achieve the same design objective with software tools. You can choose almost any tool achieve the same disign goal.Do you want to learn web design only or create layouts for magazines.

Study known layout artists that have a good design reputation.  If you really want to build websites from scratch, learn HTML and get certified. W3 Schools is the best place to learn HTML.

They take you from start to finish and give you a certificate at the end if you choose to go that route. It will cost you a few dollars but a good education will all ways cost a something.

Another option is to get a good book and learn HTML on your own. I highly recommend a book by Lynda Weinman called, Creative HTML Design. It looks like it’s easy to understand. Keep in mind that HTML 5 is on the rise and learning it might create more options for you down the line.

If you want to learn drag and drop software, start with the easy ones first. You can set up a website for free using Word Press and learn how the use the software at not extra cost.Go-Daddy makes it easy to install Word Press if you don’t have a hosting company.

I build a lot of Word Press websites and love using the software. If you want to step is up and try software that makes it easy to use, take a look at x-site-pro. Go the website and read up on what they offer but take your time deciding what avenue to take. There is nothing worse than spending a lot of time on a path that you don’t want to be on and have to change directions.

Choosing web software should be done with patience. Another great option is to download a trial version of Adobe Dreamweaver and see if you like the software. Always go the cheapest route to learn and expand from there. Be sure to take advantage of the free mini course to learn more about web design software for beginners.

To Your Success!
